We offer two streamlined packages for property tax protest representation:
- Full Representation: This package covers filing the protest, gathering evidence, submitting evidence, negotiating a settlement, and attending the necessary hearing (limited to one hearing - informal, formal, or arbitration) to seek a reduction in the assessment.
- Do It Yourself Package: Kush.Law will prepare a property assessment package for the client, but the client is responsible for filing the protest and attending the hearing.
Key points:
- We do not guarantee a reduction in property taxes as a result of their services.
- You pre-authorize the firm to resolve the property tax matter on your behalf, either through an informal or formal hearing, if the firm deems such action to be in your best interests. Settling the matter may result in waiving your right to arbitrate and/or appeal the resolution for that particular year.
- Due to the firm's limited bandwidth and high volume of requests, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to schedule an appointment with an attorney prior to your property tax hearing.
- You will have the opportunity to review and approve the prepared documentation packet prior to the property tax hearing. Deadlines will be provided to respond to ensure we are efficiently processing your matter.
- We will protest your matter on an annual basis unless you request otherwise or if your legal insurance does not cover this service anymore (you may cancel our representation at any time by emailing [email protected])
